You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Varme, sterk sol og nedbør som regn til fjelltopphøyde preget forrige uke. Kjøligere vær denne uka vil føre til gjenfrysing av den smelteomvandlede snøen og danne hard skare som myknes utover dagen og av sola.

Observasjoner fra Rosendal lørdag viser til isotermt snødekke i nordvendt side på 1300 moh. Noen løsere lag av eldre smelteomdanna kantkorn mot bakken, men disse regnes ikke som noe aktivt skredproblem.

2-5 mm precipitation. Rain up to 1000 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Breeze from northwest, changing to strong breeze from the northwest during the afternoon. -5 °C to 3 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Wednesday 17. May 2023

1-3 mm precipitation. Rain up to 700 m a.s.l. Strong breeze from northwest. -8 °C to 0 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.
