It is in general a stable snowpack. Some wet avalanches can occur in sun-exposed slopes, so be careful where the snow is very wet, especially in terrain traps.

Det var stor snøsmelting sist veke, noko som har gjort at snøgrensa har blitt høgare, og det er lite snø lengst ut på kysten. Den snøen som finnast er i hovudsak blitt smelteomvandla, inkludert dei vedvarande svake laga som fantest tidlegare på sesongen. Snøoverflata blir mjuk om dagen og det frys på om natta. Det kan moglegens vere andre tilhøve med Gaissene.
