Avalanche

It can be easy to trigger fresh windslab in exposed places. There can be a persistent weak layer buried in the snow pack that can be triggered in a few places. The weak layer's presence is, however, uncertain. Solar radiation may cause loose snow avalanches in areas with fresh snow. (NVE)

Rain and high temperature give danger of wet avalanches at lower altitudes. Avoid staying under glidecracks. In the north, where the mountains are high and also far east in the region, there might be a persistent weak layer buried in the snow pack. In these places, be careful where the snowpack is thin.
