Local flooding and/or erosional damage in streams and small rivers. Be aware of the level in some greater lakes, like Strynsvatn and Lovatn.
Stay informed on the situation. Secure and/or move assets away from vulnerable areas (car, caravan along rivers/streams, basements). Cleaning of drainage paths and culverts is recommended. Keep away from rivers and streams with high flow.
The river discharge will increase where the catchment is affected by heavy rain showers. Lakes and rivers with snow/glaciers in the basin are particularily vulnerable.
