You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Etter det kraftige mildværet torsdag, har nå snødekket fryst til igjen og består av skare. Det kom litt nysnø i helgen lengst vest i regionen.
Det er generelt lite snø i regionen. Fortsatt oppstikkende stein og vegetasjon.

8 mm precipitation, up to 15 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 700 m a.s.l Sunday night. Moderate gale from west, changing to strong gale from the northwest during the evening. -5 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Monday 17. January 2022

Little to no precipitation. Moderate gale from northwest, changing to fresh breeze from the northwest during the afternoon. -8 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Det meste av snødekket er nå banket av vinden og det forventes at det er lite løs snø igjen å flytte på. Det forventes at det stort sett er vanskelig å løse ut skred nå, men i beskytta lommer og søkk kan det finnes mykere flak som kan være lett å løse ut.
