Generally safe conditions. The snowpack is sparse and primarily hard packed. Use caution on isolated slopes with fresh windslabs.

You can trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Tirsdag er det kommet nysnø, også i lavlandet. Det er kraftig vind i fjellet og snøfokk.

Fra tidligere er det lite snø som stort sett ligger i forsenkninger. Mye er skare og generelt hardt.

3 mm precipitation, up to 8 mm in the most exposed areas. Rain up to 100 m a.s.l. Strong breeze from east. -9 °C to -4 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Wednesday 29. December 2021

4-6 mm precipitation. Rain up to 700 m a.s.l during the evening. Breeze from southeast. -11 °C to -2 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Skredfaren minker raskt når været roer seg. Men vær varsom i områder med fersk fokksnø enkelte steder. Det vil generelt være vanskelig å løse ut skred i den ferske snøen.

Områder uten nysnø har svært stabile forhold.
