Generally stable conditions, but be careful in steep terrain, especially where wind deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er lite snø i området, og det lille skiføret som er består av flekkvis skare/smelteomvandlet snø med noen få cm nysnø over.

I Sirdal har det kommet 5 cm nysnø torsdag.

4-6 mm precipitation. Rain up to 400 m a.s.l during the afternoon. Breeze from east. -11 °C to -2 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Friday 24. December 2021

No precipitation. Strong breeze from northeast, changing to breeze from the northwest during renoon. -17 °C to -6 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Clear skies.

Det er generellt lite snø og stabile forhold i reigonen. På vindustatte steder kan det være nok vind til å danne ferske fokksnøflak.

En skiløper kan løse ut små skred i forsenkninger. Hard og isete overflate med oppstikkende stein kan gjøre at selv små skred kan få alvorlig konsekvens.
