Snow cover (in Norwegian)

Sunday 9. January 2022

Mountain weather

Sunday 9. January 2022

2-4 mm precipitation. Precipitation as snow. Moderate gale from southeast. -14 °C to -9 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Monday 10. January 2022

Little to no precipitation. Strong breeze from southeast, changing to moderate gale from the south during the afternoon. -12 °C to -6 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Advice

The bulletin is a planning tool and may differ from the actual situation. Always make your own evaluation. To be 100 % avalanche safe, avoid all avalanche terrain.

Avalanche risk assessment

Kraftig vind og mykje ubunden snø vil gje stor vindtransport og pålagring i nordvendte leheng.

Det er òg utvikla eit vedvarande svakt lag kantkorn kring eit skarelag i snødekket.
