Generally stable conditions, but be careful in steep terrain, especially where wind deposited slabs are thin or soft, a slab avalanche is easier to trigger here.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det har kommet et dryss av nysnø i overflaten. Under dette består snøoverflaten for det meste av smelteomvandlet og hard snø etter mildvær med påfølgende gjenfrysing. Høyt til fjells kan det fortsatt være tørr fokksnø i skyggesider.

Mandag er det lett snøfokk i høyden ved Gaustatoppen.

Little to no precipitation. Breeze from northwest. -7 °C to 3 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Tuesday 4. May 2021

4-8 mm precipitation. Fresh breeze from east, changing to strong breeze from the east during the afternoon. -8 °C to -1 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Vind og litt nysnø danner små ustabile fokksnøflak som er lett å løse ut. Skred kan løsne innad i nysnøen eller skli på skaren.

Der snøoverflaten mykes opp utover dagen, pga høyere temperaturer eller gløtt av sol, kan det løsne enkelte våte løssnøskred.
