Snødekkket er gjennomfrosset med stedvis noe vindtransportert snø på toppen. Snømengdene minket betydelig forrige uke, og man finner nå sammenhengende skiføre fra ca 1100 moh. Mest snø er det i hellinger mot nord til øst. Utover dagen blir snødekket mykt i sider vendt mot sør.

Natt til mandag var det ned mot 5 minusgrader i regionen.

Avalanche risk assessment

En kald værtype med dagtemperatur rundt 0 grader i 1100 moh gir stort sett tilfrosset snødekke som bløtes litt opp i solhellingene. Generelt vil faren for våtsnøskred og skavlbrekk være liten, og kun være aktuelt i bratte solhellinger der det fortsatt ligger igjen snø. Nordvestvind med enkelte snøbyger ventes ikke å påvirke snøskredfaren.
