You can trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

I lavlandet er det stort sett skare etter mildværet som var, men det kan ligge noe tørrsnø i skogen.
Over skoggrensen varierer det mellom myke og harde fokksnøflak. Vinden har tatt godt i høyden og på vindutsatte steder er det avblåst til skare/ruglete is.

Avalanche risk assessment

Vinden øker i utsatte strøk, og vil flytte på tilgjengelig snø. Gamle fokksnøflak ventes å være stabilisert. Enkelte steder kan det finnes myke flak som kan påvirkes av skiløper. Vær oppmerksom der snødekket fremdeles er mykt.

Høyt til fjells kan det finnes vedvarende svake lag av kantkorn dypere i snødekket, men disse utgjør pr. nå ikke et aktivt skredproblem.
