Dangerous avalanche conditions due to large amounts of new snow, strong winds and rising temperatures. Large naturally released avalanches are likely. Avoid avalanche terrain.

Avalanche risk assessment

Mye nysnø og vind danner store ustabile nysnøflak og mye skavler i fjellet. Det må forventes store, naturlig utløste tørre flakskred, mest utsatt er østvendte lesider. Sent på dagen vil temperaturstigning svekke bindingene i snødekket og det forventes også våte skred under mildværsgrensen.
Varslet er basert på et enklere datagrunnlag enn regionale varsler, og utgis kun ved faregrad 4 og 5.
