Avalanche warning for region Romsdal Tuesday 01.12.2020

In general, there is little snow and stable conditions in the region. In exposed slopes at high altitudes, small wind slabs may be triggered in fresh snow from the last few days.

You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det ligg litt nysnø på snøoverflata, men mykje av snøen har blåst over i austvendte leheng. Snøgrensa er på om lag 400 moh, og opp til ca. 600 moh er snøen delvis smelteomdanna. Her vil ein finne skare i overflata.

Det er generelt gode bindingar mellom lag i underliggande snø.

Lite snø og generelt stabile forhold. Høgt til fjells kan ein somme stader løyse ut små skred i fokksnøen som har blitt danna dei siste dagane. Bindingane mellom fokksnøen og underliggande snø vil etterkvart bli sterkare.
