Solar radiation may result in natural avalanche activity. Avlanches could also be triggered by skiers. The avlanche activity are increasing during the day.

Mildvær de siste dagene har gjennomfuktet snødekket. Pga. lavere temperaturer har det nå blitt dannet skare i overflaten i høyden. I lavereliggende terreng er snøpakken gjennomfuktet, og snøoverflaten er fortsatt fuktig. Topper og rygger er stort sett bare. Det ligger mest snø i nordvendte leheng, men det er store variasjoner i regionen. Det er lite snø under 500 moh, og generelt lite snø for årstiden.

Mandag ble det rapportert om små løssnøskred i Hunnedalen.

6 mm precipitation, up to 20 mm in the most exposed areas. Calm/light breeze from west. -5 °C to 3 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Thursday 1. April 2021

No precipitation. Breeze from north, changing to fresh breeze from the northwest during the afternoon. -10 °C to 2 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Clear skies.

Snødekket fryser til i klarvær om natten. Der solen tar utover dagen vil snødekket bli mykt, og våte snøskred kan løsne. Der oppsprukket snø glir på bratte, glatte sva, kan det være fare for glideskred. Unngå opphold under slike områder
