At some spots it might also be possible to trigger avalanches in persistent weak layers of facets deeper in the snow pack. Large avalanches might be the result.

You can trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3).

Det er fokksnø av ulik hardheit i høgda etter sist snøfall. I skog og skjerma områder er det mjukare snø og laussnø. Tildels store mengder snø tilgjengeleg for vind.

Det er kantkornlag i det eldre snødekket. Dette er i observasjon beskrevet som aktivt frå 7- 800 moh seinast laurdag.

Fortsatt mykje laussnø tilgjengeleg for vind, og lett snøføyke mandag.

1-3 mm precipitation. Breeze from southwest, changing to breeze from the northwest during the afternoon. -18 °C to -9 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

1-5 mm precipitation. Breeze from northwest. -15 °C to -10 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Det er svake lag av kantkorn i det eldre snødekket som kan bli løyst ut. Skred i dette laget kan bli store. Det er lettare å komme i kontakt med det svake laget på stader med mjukt eller tynt snødekke. Skoggrensa eller lune formasjoner er slike stader.
