Snødekket er tynt og ujevnt fordelt over skoggrensa. Mange steder er det avblåst og hardt, i noen leområder høyt til fjells ligger det fokksnø som nå er stabilisert av mildvær.
Det er lite eller ingen snø i lavlandet og lite som ligner på vinter dessverre.

Søndag formiddag er det plussgrader til ca 1000 moh og litt regn.

4 mm precipitation, up to 10 mm in the most exposed areas. Breeze from west. -8 °C to 0 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Monday 7. January 2019

12 mm precipitation, up to 25 mm in the most exposed areas. Breeze from northwest, changing to fresh breeze from the southeast during the afternoon. -8 °C to -3 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Med nysnø og vind vil det bli litt mer vinter og skredfaren øker. Over skoggrensa vil det i leområder legge seg opp noen ustabile nysnøflak hvor en enkelt person kan være uheldig å løse ut skred. Vær obs på at vindretningen endrer seg i løpet av dagen og dermed kan også ustabile nysnøflak dannes i nye leområder i vindutsatt terreng.
