You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Snødekkket er gjennomfrosset med stedvis noe tørr nysnø på toppen. Snømengdene minket betydelig forrige uke og snøgrensen er ca 1000 moh. Det finnes nå sammenhengende snødekke stort sett bare i fjellsider vendt mot nord til øst. I andre himmelretninger er det bare snø av betydelig mengde i terrengformasjoner som lett samler snø. I solvendt terreng er det lite snø under 1300 moh.

Det er ikke observert svake lag i det gamle snødekket.

Det har vært frost over ca 1100 moh siste døgnet i regionen.

Little to no precipitation. Calm/light breeze from west, changing to breeze from the southeast during the evening. -10 °C to -1 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Thursday 9. May 2019

10 mm precipitation, up to 15 mm in the most exposed areas. Fresh breeze from east. -6 °C to -1 °C at 1400 m a.s.l. Cloudy.
