Difficult conditions. There is a persistent weak layer buried in the snow pack. Keep distance to steep areas with fresh windslabs. Remote triggering and naturally released avalanches is possible.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury a car or destroy a small house (size 3). Remote triggering is possible.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Torsdag avtar bygeaktivteten og vinden i regionen, men det vil fortsatt ta noe tid før fokksnøflakene får stabilisert seg. Flere steder finnes det også vedvarende svake lag av kantkorn i snødekket som gjør det til en krevende snøskredsituasjon. Disse lagene kan påvirkes enten direkte av skiløper/skuter eller av mindre skred i fokksnøen. Særlig i sørvendte heng kan skred bli store og enkelte naturlig utløste skred kan ventes.
