You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches can get large enough to bury or even kill you (size 2).

Tirsdag ble det observert ca 20cm løssnø ved Honningsvåg som ligger jevnt fordelt i terrenget.
Det er generelt mest snø i ytre del av regionen.

I indre deler av regionen rundt Lakselv er det funnet velutviklede begerkrystaller ved bakken.

Little to no precipitation. Fresh breeze from southwest. -12 °C to -7 °C at 700 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Perioder med litt vind kan flytte noe løssnø inn i leområder og skape ferske ustabile fokksnøflak, særlig i ytre strøk der det ligger en del løs snø tilgjengelig.

Vedvarende svakt lag av begerkrystaller er til stede særlig i indre deler av regionen. Vær forsiktig i overgangen mellom tynt og tykt snødekket der skredproblemet er tilstede.
