Local flooding and/or erosional damage in streams and small rivers. Rapid increase of discharge in streams and small rivers. May cause closed roads and bridges.

Stay informed on the situation. It is recommended to Keep away from rivers and streams with high flow.

Description

The combination of rain and continuous snow melting will increase water discharge. Water discharge is expected to rise in the major rivers. Hydropower production will in some cases act as flood control, and therefore the issued warning will not necessarily apply to all regulated waterways.
