You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det er lite snø igjen i regionen og man må stort sett over 1300 moh for å finne sammenhengende skiføre. Mest snø lengst vest i regionen.
Snødekket består nå i hovedsak av isoterm smelteomvandlet snø og er stabilt.

Natt til søndag 26.05 ble det målt -6 grader på 1804 moh ved Gaustatoppen.

Monday 27. May 2019

2 mm precipitation, up to 8 mm in the most exposed areas. Breeze from northwest. -1 °C to 6 °C at 1100 m a.s.l. Partly cloudy.

Avalanche risk assessment

Det er lite snø igjen i regionen og det gjenværende snødekket tåler både regn og varme godt. Det er smelteomvandlet og har ingen ugunstig lagdeling. Små våte løssnøskred kan løsne i enkelte bratte fjellsider dersom det er tilstrekkelig varmt eller ved solinnstråling. Sannsynligheten er imidlertid liten og utbredelsen av skredproblemet er begrenset.
