Generally stabile conditions, but sun and increasing temperatures will lead to snow melt in the surface. Be aware that wet snow will increase the likelihood of for natural triggered avalanches.

You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Over ca. 1100-1200 moh kom det før helga inntil 30 cm nysnø med varierende grad av vind og fuktighet. Det har ikke vært nedbør av betydning de siste par døgna. Det gamle snødekket består av en hard og stabil snøpakke med bærende skare.

I høyfjellet kan det ligge ferske, tørre fokksnøflak som kan ha en viss evne til bruddforplantning, men utbredelsen er trolig liten. De ferske flakene har lagt seg over eldre fokksnø med gode bindinger.

Mandag formiddag var det -1 °C og rolige vindforhold på Honnegrasnuten (1340 moh) i Vinje.

Sol og varmere luft gir svekking av bindinger i de øverste snølagene. Dette gir økende utbredelse av små, våte løssnøskred også høyere til fjells. Fokksnøflak vil stabiliseres raskt i det milde været.
