You can easily trigger avalanches on some steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Det ligg faste fokksnøflak i leområder etter snøvêret forrige veke. Fokksnøen er seig og spenningslaus. Det ligg litt laus snø tilgjengeleg for vind i skjerma formasjonar i høgda. Lågare i fjellet er snøen meir varmepåvirka og i ferd med å bli grovkorna. Den eldre snøen er i hovudsak stabilisert. Det er observert sigesprekker og glideskred. Ryggar og toppar er avblåst, harde og isete.

Det er kantkorn i snødekket i høgda, men det er ikkje meldt som eit aktivt skredproblem.

Avalanche risk assessment

Låg temperatur i fjellet, vind frå nord og nattefrost vil tørke ut og stabilisere snødekket. I soleksponerte fjellsider kan ein dog forvente mindre våte laussnøskred i løpet av dagen.

Vekslande temperatur med klårveir og utstråling som gir nattefrost og høge temperaturar om dagen virkar stabiliserande for snødekket, og gir ein gradvis overgang til grovkorna snø.
