You can easily trigger avalanches on a few steep slopes. Avalanches are relatively harmless to people, but can knock you off balance. Can be dangerous close to terrain traps. (size 1)

Overflaten er smelteomvandlet til topps etter en periode med varmt vær. Det gamle snødekket består i hovedsak av smelteomvandlet snø og er uten kritiske lagdelinger. Det kan høyt til fjells fortsatt finnes enkelte skarelag igjen i snødekket, men snøen virker generelt å drenere smeltevannet godt. Snøgrensa ligger på 300-400 moh.

Avalanche risk assessment

Generelt stabile forhold på grunn av lav temperatur og nattefrost i høyden. Den lille nedbøren som er meldt ventes ikke å påvirke snøskredfaren i særlig grad. Vær obs hvis solen får varmet opp snøoverflaten i bratte, solvendte sider, da kan det være lett å løse ut små, våte løssnøskred. Ved kraftig snøsmelting kan glideskred forekomme der snødekket ligger på glatte svaberg.
